Dr Siddharth Wandrekar - Practice principal

Sidd has been with Brunel Dental Practice since 2011 and took over the practice in September 2016 after the previous principal retired.
Sidd qualified in 2004 from one of the prestigious Universities in India. He came to the UK and meritoriously obtained a Masters in Prosthetic Dentistry from King’s College, London.
He then spent a year in a hospital environment being involved in major surgeries such as head and neck cancer, correction of jaw fractures and complex surgical removal of teeth.
He moved to work as an Associate in Private and NHS practices in Scotland before joining Brunel Dental Practice.
Sidd’s main Interest are in Contemporary Orthodontics, Smile Design and Dental Implants and has trained under world class clinicians. He has been very proactive throughout his career and endeavours to expand his skills at every opportunity. He is very actively involved in incorporating the aspects of Digital Dentistry in the practice.
He is also one of the few dentists authorised in offering the revolutionary non-surgical ‘Oralift‘ and ADD Dental Facelift treatments. He has published his research in an esteemed European Journal in 2010.
He is very caring and understanding and has a very good rapport with his patients.
Sidd enjoys playing tennis and cricket and represents local clubs in Bath at various regional competitive leagues. He also loves to travel and is a cars fanatic.

I was born in Bucharest, Romania. At the age of 14 I, along with my family, moved to the United States. While in the United States I focused on my education.
I received a Bs in Cognitive Science from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). I then went on to receive an Ms in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.
I did part of my dental training at one of the best dental schools in the United States, the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in Pennsylvania. I then completed my dental degree in the fall of 2010 at one of the best dental schools in Romania, University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila”, Bucharest. This is where I also met my lovely wife, Lorena, who specialized in Oral Surgery.
Throughout my career I have been privileged to work alongside dentists with great experience and I was able to learn from them and implement their teachings in my treatment plans.
I enjoy restorative and aesthetic dentistry. I constantly attend postgraduate courses and conferences, which has allowed me to improve my knowledge and skills and meet experts in different fields of dentistry from all over the world. I am currently attending Professor Paul Tipton’s courses, one of the best dentists, mentors, and trainers, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
I always put patients’ needs first. I will try to put patients at ease by listening to their concerns and discussing all possible options so that they can make an informed decision regarding the treatment that is right for them.
Where appropriate, I strongly believe in conservative and minimally invasive dentistry. This ties in perfectly with Invisalign because the natural dentition can be preserved without any irreversible changes to the teeth. For this reason, I decided to pursue orthodontic training and I became an Invisalign Provider in 2016.
I am very passionate about my work and at the end of the day, I would like all my patients to have a healthy and beautiful smile for life.
Mrs Mandy Palmer-Foster

Mandy started her dental career in in 1999 working as a dental nurse at a busy NHS practice. She obtained her National Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2003. She has also achieved a post graduate qualification in conscious sedation in 2006 and has a keen interest in oral surgery and dental implants as well as helping anxious patients.
She has worked in her position as Practice Manager for the last 15 years and is married with no children but 2 cats! Mandy enjoys travel, reading, eating out, spending time with friends and family, spinning and the Gym/Gin!

Sue has been working in Dentistry for 15 years, the last thirteen years at Brunel Dental Practice as receptionist. Sue is the first point of contact, is very approachable, enjoys talking with patients putting everyone at ease ensuring their experience with us is as friendly and professional as possible.
Out of work Sue enjoys quiet family time, spending time with her twin grandchildren, holidays in the sun, relaxing, going to musicals and the cinema.
